Full Description
The Wesleyan Methodist chapel was built in 1825 to replace a chapel of 1779 which stood on the same site. It is said that John Wesley himself preached in this earlier chapel. In 1906 the interior was altered and a porch added. The chapel closed in 2007. {1}{2}
The chapel is of red brick and has a pyramidal roof. The window and door arches are round-headed and the porch has a fanlight and a open pediment. {3}{4}{5}
