Full Description

A Primitive Methodist chapel was built in 1836 to seat 157. In 1900 the chapel was re-roofed and redesigned to seat 115. In 1954 a porch, kitchen and vestry were added, along with some stained glass taken from the bomb-damaged Shakespeare Street chapel in Nottingham. {1}{2}{3} The chapel is of red brick with dressings of both yellow brick and stone. It has a gabled roof with decorative ridge tiles and yellow brick cogging under the eaves. It also has stone window arches and four yellow brick string courses. {4}{5}
