Full Description

A dense scatter of Roman pottery of the second to fourth century including building material and other artefacts, found during field walking in Wragby parish. The finds are in an area covering about 70m by 40m and include hypocaust tile. There were several dense scatters of pottery and tile to the south and north-east. The pottery consisted of local grey wares and occasional regional fine ware fragments. {1}
