Full Description

A dense scatter of Roman pottery of the second to fourth century including building material and other artefacts, found during field walking in Wragby parish. The finds include hypocaust tile and roof tile. The pottery consisted of local course wares and a small quantity of imported and regional fine ware. This scatter may be associated with the possible Roman villa to the north (PRN48723). {1}
