Full Description

An archaeologist was walking with his son in Hallington and on the edge of a ploughed field they found Roman pottery. The pottery assemblage comprised: 1 Samian ware base, 5 grey ware rims, and 8 grey ware body sherds. All of the sherds were in 'reasonably fresh' condition. {1}
