Full Description
The former coach house range at The Old Rectory, Main Road, Thimbleby, was the subject of a programme of historic building recording, conducted in November 2012, prior to proposed alterations and conversion. The building comprises a central, two-storey coach house structure with two flanking, single-storey stable blocks. The buildings are constructed of red brick laid in a variety of bonds and feature slate roofs (gabled in the case of the central coach house, and hipped in the case of the flanking stable blocks). The building was designed in a late Georgian style and dates from the second half of the 19th century. {1}{2}
