Full Description

A photographic building survey of 64 Monson Street, Lincoln was undertaken in July 2008, prior to the complex being converted to residential apartments. The building is an L-shaped bakery complex that was constructed in the 19th century. Building E (and D) fronted onto Monson Street and was a shop with accomodation above. It was recently converted into flats. Building C was constructed to fill the gap between the lean to (Building B) of Buildings E and D. Building B was the light industrial part of the bakery complex and housed the ovens. Building A is modern. {1}{2}
