Full Description
During archaeological monitoring and recording of pile pits at Ventnor Lodge, Danesgate in 2010, an 11th to 12th century roughly faced stone fragment, two sherds of early medieval pottery, two sherds of 16th century pottery, a sherd of 13th to 15th century pottery and a late 13th to 14th century copper alloy buckle were found. {1}{2}
