Full Description

During a watching brief of topsoil stripping at the Hatton Compressor Station in 2009, seven late medieval to early post medieval pottery sherds, nineteen sherds of post medieval pottery, 80 fragments of medieval to post medieval ceramic building material, six late 18th to 20th century handmade bricks, a post medieval iron wedge and an iron hoop attached to an iron bar were found. All of these artefacts were unstratified. During the evaluation, a sherd of post medieval pottery was found. {1}{2}
