Earthworks and cropmarks of a former trackway to the south of Marshchapel. Visible as a curvilinear feature running for approximately 500m along a roughly east to west alignment. Thought to be the remains of a possible former medieval drove road. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1} The feature can be clearly discerned as a curvilinear earthwork on the Google Maps satellite imagery layer and on LiDAR data for this area. The trackway aligns well with what is thought to be a further former trackway to the east, and may represent a continuation of that feature (see MLI87694). {2}{3}
