Full Description
Linear earthwork to the south of North Coates, thought to be the remains of a possible medieval or later plough headland. Visible as a linear earthwork bank, running for approsimately 170m along a north-west to south-east axis. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
The earthwork appears to have all been fully removed by more recent ploughing and agricultural activity, as seen on the Google Maps aerial imagery layer. {2}
