Full Description
Interpretation of aerial photographs was undertaken in December 2011 in order to determine the best possible location for a wind farm substation. Aerial photograph site 3 was recorded as medieval ridge and furrow east and southeast of Monksthorpe. Eroded and upstanding areas of ridge and furrow were bisible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. {1}
