Full Description

A building survey of the outbuildings at Lodge Farm was undertaken in August 2011. There were eleven agricultural buildings, built of brick. They were broadly contemporary with the farmhouse, which is early 19th century and, from map evidence, present by 1838 with the outbuildings. Of the buildings that could be identifed, there was a dovecote with a store on the ground floor, a possible stable, an animal shelter or feeding shed and a cart shed. {1}{2}
