A residual prehistoric flint tool and a possibly Bronze Age pottery sherd were recovered during a scheme of archaeological monitoring on land at Well Vale Drive, Chapel St Leonards. The pottery sherd was a basal fragment of micaceous clay with quartz temper, though was heavily abraded. {1}{2}
