Full Description

A photographic survey was undertaken of Oxford Hall before it was demolished in about 2012. The building developed from a group of mid nineteenth-century houses, 2-5 Norman Street, which were adapted to form two hotels in the late nineteenth century; The Oxford Hotel and The Grand Hotel. These hotels were merged to form a single establishment in the 1960s. There were also a range of nineteenth-century outbuildings to the north. By 2004, it had been developed into student accommodation. {1}{2}
