Full Description
During fieldwalking at Abbey Farm, Bardney in October 2011, Roman pottery sherds including Greyware, Creamware, Samian ware and Amphorae, tile fragments, tegula roof tile fragments, imbrex roof tile, pieces of slag and a fragment of brick were found by Bardney Heritage Group. The majority of the artefacts fall within the polygon although there are Roman finds scattered across the whole site. {1}
