Full Description

A backed blade recorded at SK 805 915 in The Colonisation of Britain Project. The flint is from the E.H. Rudkin Collection. The flint is not precisely dated and is therefore either upper Palaeolithic or Mesolithic. [The grid reference provided by the Project is in the parish of Gainsborough and yet the flint is recorded to be from Morton. Therefore the grid reference for the HER record has been moved north into Morton]. {1}
