Full Description

The former farmhouse at Mill Farm, Saxilby, was the subject of a programme of historic building recording, conducted in March 2012, prior to its proposed demolition. The building is of two-storeys, in a square-shaped plan form, and is constructed of red brick laid in Flemish bond with a gabled roof of cement tiles. The building dates to the mid 19th century, though has seen extensive alterations and remodelling throughout the 20th century, especially inside, where most of the original fabric was hidden by modern plaster and wall coverings. {1}{2}
