Full Description

Two pits which contained post medieval pottery, glass, animal bone, late 18th to 19th century clay pipe and 17th to 18th century brick were revealed during archaeological monitoring and recording on land at Bicker Bar Roundabout, Swineshead in March and April 2011. Two undated ditches which were possibly ditches from the post medieval field system were also found. {1}{2}
