Full Description

Photographic recording was undertaken by the developer of an outbuilding at Lea Grange Farm, Lea in March 2011, prior to the building's demolition. The building was originally two adjoining farm workers’ cottages which were built in the early nineteenth century and in use as such in 1913. They were two storeys with a pantile roof and were built of red brick with Yorkshire sliding sashes. The buildings went out of use as dwellings in the late 1950s and were converted to agricultural use in 1960 being altered to be used as a cart shed. {1}
