Full Description

During trial trenching undertaken by Naomi Field Consultancy Ltd at South Road, Bourne in December 2010, two furrows were found in Trench 3 which contained medieval pottery. A ditch or field boundary which contained 15th to 16th century pottery was found in Trench 4, a ditch and a pit both containing 15th to 16th century pottery was found in Trench 5 and a pit containing a sherd of medieval pottery was found in Trench 7. {1}{2}
