Full Description

A photographic recording of Poplar Farm was undertaken by John Rowan Architectual Services in July 2009 prior to extensions and alterations to the buildings. The barn and cartshed were built in around 1840 from red brick and have pantile roofs. {1} The Poplars, Walesby. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
