Full Description

Fieldwalking was undertaken by Archaeological Project Services in November 2008 along the route of the Lincoln Eastern Bypass. Roman pottery was found at this location. {1}{2} Trial trenching was undertaken by Archaeological Project Services in 2008 along the proposed route of the Lincoln Eastern Bypass. A ditch containing a sherd of late Iron Age to Roman pottery and a pit containing Roman pottery and animal bone were found. {3}{4}
