Geophysical survey consisting of gradiometer and topsoil magnetic susceptibility survey was carried out in advance of a proposed extension of the quarry. A broad band of magnetic enchancement was seen across the southern half of the field and it is thought that this may relate to quarrying activity as seen to the east [PRN 61823?].
