Full Description
Geophysical survey consisting of gradiometer and topsoil magnetic susceptibility survey was carried out in advance of a proposed extension of Brauncewell Limestone Quarry in February 2008. A broad band of magnetic enchancement was seen across the southern half of the field and it is thought that this may relate to quarrying activity as seen to the east (see MLI81846). A pair of parallel ditches, a single ditch running northwest to southeast, pits and trackways were also seen. {1}{2}
