Full Description

Archaeological monitoring and recording of groundworks was undertaken by Archaeological Project Services during excavation of the foundation trenches for a new dwelling at Plot 3, Rider Gardens, in October 2010. A medieval pit which contained three sherds of pottery, one dated to the 11th to 12th century, daub, animal bone and baked or solidifed silt was found. {1}{2}
