Full Description
During archaeological monitoring and recording at 66 High Street, Stamford by Archaeological Project Services Ltd in September 2010, a pit, possibly used for quarrying stone in the 18th and 19th century was found. Post medieval pottery, tile, slag and three nails were also found. {1}{2}
