Full Description
During a metal detecting rally in September 2010, fragments of a life sized statue of a Roman emperor were found. The statue was constructed of a copper alloy. {1}{3}
Cast copper-alloy fragments from a Roman life-sized statue. The fragments were discovered in an area measuring approximately two metres square. There are eight fragments in total, three of which join together to form a larger fragment. {2}
