Full Description

A Bronze Age socketed axehead with three ribs found near the river Witham in Lincoln in about 1898. It was formerly in the Jarvis collection and is now in Lincoln Museum. {1}{2}{3} Andrew White, the former museum curator at Lincoln, notes that there is no evidence for the date of 1898 for the discovery of this axehead. {4}
