Full Description

A looped and socketed palstave of Bronze Age date found at Lincoln in 1828, it is 4 3/8 inches long. A similar axe had been found in 1824 (see PRN71108). Both objects are in Weston Park Museum, Sheffield. {1}{2} A faceted socketed axe found in Lincoln in 1828. It is in Weston Park Museum, Sheffield (accession no.J93.511). {3}
