Full Description

An L shaped range of brick farm buildings with an adjacent cart shed, constructed during the 19th century. A date plaque on the west end of the buildings reads 1842. However, the threshing barn dates from the early 19th century. Planning permission was granted in 2008 to convert the buildings into holiday lets. {1}{2} The Barn, Snelland. 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. The farmhouse is the only surviving historic structure. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {3}
