This house consists of the cross wing of a 17th century or earlier house, the main range of which has recently been demolished. There is a massive stone chimney stack, partly cased in brick, which was situated between the former main range and the cross wing. The interior fittings include a mid 17th century cupboard door. There is an extension at the rear which is probably 19th century although it may retain the plan of an earlier structure. {1}
