Full Description
A scatter of 88 sherds of Roman pottery found while field walking by the Humber Wetlands Project about 600m east of Boothby Hall. The pottery was mostly greywares with course ware and some fine wares including colourcoat ware. There were 22 identifiable vessels including jars, bowls and flanged bowls. The scatter was some 250m by 220m in extent. {1}
