Full Description

Cropmarks of a possible trackway or boundary of unknown date, to the south of Candlesby. Visible as a roughly straight double-ditched linear feature, running for approximately 170m along a south-east to north-west alignment. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1} More recent aerial photography taken in 1998 showed the linear feature extending for a further 140m towards the north-west, than that previously identified by the NMP. {2}
