Full Description
During January 1998 John Samuels Archaeology Consultants undertook trial trenching on land off Hall Close, Ropsley. Trench 4 contained a pit with animal bone, a sherd of post medieval slipware pottery and a fragment of 19th century clay pipe. {1}{2}
