Full Description

Twenty two trial trenches were excavated by Northamptonshire Archaeology in August 2004 on land off Barnack Road, Stamford. Redeposited medieval pottery sherds was found mostly in the subsoil. These have been suggested as evidence of medieval agriculture taking place on the site. {1}{2}
