Full Description

This building is currently called Cringle Farm and is the typical 'E' shaped layout of a Christopher Turner model farmstead. As Christopher Turner owned the nearby Stoke Rochford Hall, this farm was almost certainly altered by him. It appears on the Ordnance Survey map dating from about 1880. {1} About twenty farmsteads in Linconshire were rebuilt by Turner between 1847 and 1870. {2}
