A Particular Baptist Meeting House was built in 1761 in Badgate, which was originally known as Meeting House Lane and then Chapel Lane. It had a small cemetery at the front. It closed in the mid 1950s when a new chapel was built in Station Street. It was demolished after closure and a small factory was built on the site. The burial ground may still survive in a domestic garden but is concealed by trees.{1}{3}{4}{5}
