The Baptist chapel is indicated on the 1904 OS County Series map. The first General Baptist chapel was built around 1810 or 1811 by a section of the Fleet church. It was rebuilt in 1883. In 2010 the chapel was disused and for sale. It is built of gault brick with red brick and stone dressings and has a gabled roof with a slate covering and ornamental ridge copings. The gable verges and eaves cornices have dentil red brick, and terracotta nailhead, ornament and brackets. The gabled porch has the same ornamental details. The gabled front has three bays including the central porch flanked by lancet windows with stone keystones. A circular date stone is set in the gable above the porch with a date 'AD 1883'. The side elevations have four bays of lancet windows separated by brick pilasters. The attached hipped annexes appears contemporary and appear on the 1904 map. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
