A Chapel is indicated on the OS County Series Map. The building survives and is now in use as a house. The chapel was a United Free Methodist Church and was erected in 1863. It was renovated in 1942 at which time the interior was reversed. It closed in 1972. The buildings to the rear on the OS County Map no longer survive. The chapel is constructed of red brick, which is mostly rendered, and has a gabled roof with a slate covering. The front pedimental gable has three recessed bays and a raised gable which has stone copings and dentil brick verges and cornice. The central round-arched doorway is approached by four steps, with curved iron handrails, and the paired doors have a semi-circular divided light above. The doorway is flanked by round-headed windows with glazing bars. The side elevations, which are divided into two bays by a brick pilaster, have been refenestrated with plastic windows. The land falls away to the rear of the chapel and a lower tier of plastic windows and a door have been inserted. The iron railings and gate survive. A plaque on the railings dates the building of the chapel to 1863.{1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
