Full Description
A cache of silver coins, dating from the 13th to 14th centuries was found on land off Skirbeck Road, Boston, on the site of the former St John's Cemetery in about 1985. The coins were identified as Edward I and II sterling pennies. Originally, there had been twenty six although only fourteen were presented for identification. {1}
