Full Description

PRN 25641 Pair of two storey brick houses of probable 19th century date with slate roof, joined at the rear by a modern extension. No. 28 has a brick cellar. Both have been extensively altered and are no longer structurally sound, although some period features do remain including a staircase in no. 27 and gas light fittings in no. 28. Many of the fireplaces and sash windows have been bricked up. It is possible that some original features remain hidden by later alterations such as plasterboard wall coverings. A photographic building survey was carried out prior to demolition. {1} These buildings are considered to be of Local Heritage Interest and make a positive contribution to the Conservation Area. {2} The buildings have now been demolished. {3}
