Full Description

The station building at Wragby was completed in c.1874 and was constructed of yellow brick with red brick decorative bands and a slate roof. It originally comprised a booking hall, ticket office, ladies' waiting room and stationmaster's house. It was extended soon after it was built to provide a parcel office and possibly cloakroom facilities for men. Subsequent alterations took place in the twentieth century. The railway line closed in 1960 and the new owners converted the station building into a private dwelling. {1}
