Full Description
A blacksmith's shop built in the late 18th century with a saddler's shop added to the north side in the early 19th century. In 1879, the Turnor estate owned the whole site, but the lease was held by the Johnson family. This family bought the property in 1917 and have worked it until the closure of Johnson's Garage in 2006. The blacksmith's forge was at the south of the building and is still in-situ. {1}
