Full Description

The former Premier Bodyworks building features in a set of photographs taken in around 2000. The photographs show a brick structure with a tile roof, of probable late 18th or early 19th century date. The building fronts on to Cinder Street with two large doorways at ground floor level, one of which is arched, and features four identical windows at first floor level. There is a large bricked up opening in the north gable end and single ground floor and first floor windows in the south gable. The building originally formed part of a wider complex of buildings (also partially visible in the photographs), extending to the north and east. The latter have since been demolished to make way for an extension to the grounds of Kidgate Primary School. {1}
