Possible medieval ridge and furrow is visible in this field. In the northern half of the field the ridge and furrow runs from north to south, in the middle section of the field the ridge and furrow runs from east to west and in the south of the field the ridge and furrow has been quarried away. {1}
The ridge and furrow is visible on the c.2000 aerial photographs. This was confirmed by Karen Waite on the 25th September 2009. {2}
