Full Description
Two probable pits were identified in December 2005, during the archaeological monitoring of new development on land adjoining 1 Devereux Way, Horncastle. The pits could be seen to cut into the natural limestone layers and were overlain by deposits of apparently modern origin. No finds were recovered from either feature, however, and they remain undated. {1}{2}
