Full Description
The remains of a possible plough furrow was recorded in this location in November 2008, during archaeological monitoring of groundworks for the renewal of part of the Grayfleet Drain floodbank. The feature measured 2.5m wide and was aligned on a north to south axis. It may have correlated with low undulations visible as earthworks at the southern edge of the field, and may reflect the remains of medieval agricultural activity. {1}{2}
