Summary
During fieldwalking in January and February 2005 on the land around Sempringham Priory, over three hundred sherds of 2nd to 3rd century pottery were recovered. These finds indicate that a Romano British settlement probably existed on the site.

During fieldwalking in January and February 2005 on the land around Sempringham Priory, over three hundred sherds of 2nd to 3rd century pottery were recovered. These finds indicate that a Romano British settlement probably existed on the site. {1}{2}
