Full Description

This is a building identified as of historical interest by the South Holland District Council Local List. It is a good example of this style of building of this period and survives with only a few changes to its original construction. {1} The chapel was visited in 2010. In 1789 a small society was established in Moulton and by 1795 a house was used for worship until the present chapel was built in 1830. It is built of red brick and has a hipped roof with a covering of modern tiles. The three-bay south end has two segmental-arched windows and a small circular window above the central segmental-headed doorway. There is one large segmental-arched window with glazing bars in each side wall. The north elevation has a hipped annexe attached but above this are two upper segmental-arched windows with margin lights, with coloured glass, and a circular light between. {2}{3}{4}{5}{6} The building was visited again in 2011. {7}
