This is a building identified as of historical interest by the South Holland District Council Local List. It is a good example of this style of building of this period but has, in the past, been altered and has lost many of its original features and its historic character. The location of the Village Hall is uncertain. It has been placed at this location as a 'village hall' is recorded on the second edition Ordnance Survey map. {1}{2}
Some elements of the original hall are still viable but this building has undergone huge alterations and extensions leaving little of the hall untouched. {3}
